Quick Symbol Solution

Find the sounding symbol, call the current stage, then press the returned color from the live manual. Do not treat the shape alone as the answer.

EXAMPLE CALLOUT

"Stage two. Sounding symbol is the spiral. Buttons are red, blue, yellow." Wait for the manual reader to return one color before pressing.

Symbol meanings

The symbol itself is not the answer by itself. Treat each shape as an identifier: isolate the one that produces sound, describe it consistently, then pair that identifier with the current stage in the live manual.

  1. 1Sounding symbol
  2. 2Current stage
  3. 3Available button colors

How to solve

  1. 01

Rotate through the four shapes deliberately and test one symbol at a time.

  2. 02

Stop when the hearing player identifies the shape that makes sound.

  3. 03

Call the stage number and a stable symbol description to the manual reader.

  4. 04

Press only the color returned for that stage-symbol pair, then re-identify the next stage.

Common Symbol mistakes

  • Stopping on a visible shape before confirming that it is the symbol producing sound.
  • Sending the symbol description without the current stage number.
  • Reusing a color from the previous stage instead of performing the lookup again.

Use the current manual workflow for the stage-symbol lookup; do not treat a copied color as universal.

Symbol module FAQ

What information should the team call out?

Call the current stage, the one symbol that produces sound, and the available button colors.

Do I search for the sounding symbol again after each stage?

Yes. Re-identify the sounding symbol and perform the stage-symbol lookup again before pressing.
