BOMBANANA Deaf Monkey Guide

Deaf Monkey is the bridge between the bomb and the manual. You can see the bomb and speak to Blind, but you must read Mute's gestures accurately because you cannot hear the rest of the team.

What Deaf Monkey owns

Deaf Monkey names panels, colors, positions, lights, button states, and Mute's final gesture. The role succeeds when raw observations stay separate from interpreted instructions until Mute has checked the manual.

  1. 01

Describe the module first, then the exact state in a fixed order such as left-to-right.

  2. 02

Watch Mute's answer and translate it into a short command Blind can repeat back.

  3. 03

Confirm physical position, not just color or symbol, before Blind touches the bomb.

High-value callouts

COLOR

Say color plus position

Color-only commands break when the panel has duplicates or orientation confusion.

STATE

Separate current from target

For sliders and switches, call what is currently shown before relaying where it should end.

REPEAT

Force readback

If Blind repeats the wrong action, correct it before any button, wire, or switch is touched.
