BEGINNER GUIDE // FIRST RUN

How to Play BOMBANANA

Form a team of exactly three, take one asymmetric role each, and relay incomplete information quickly enough to defuse the bomb. This guide explains the complete first-run loop without assuming you already know the manual.

The basic objective

Your squad must clear the bomb's defusal modules before time or allowed mistakes run out, while ongoing CHAOS modules demand attention. Campaign introduces the systems across 30 levels; Custom changes the chosen difficulty and modifiers; Endless continues through waves.

Your first run in five steps

  1. Form a three-player lobby.

The game is designed around Blind, Mute, and Deaf Monkey.

  2. Pick roles deliberately.

Put the clearest visual communicator on Deaf and the fastest table reader on Mute.

  3. Agree on vocabulary.

Lock left/right, rows, columns, colors, and a confirm gesture.

  4. Name the module first.

The manual reader should never search from a loose visual description.

  5. Repeat before input.

The Blind Monkey confirms the exact action, then operates the bomb.

What to play first

CAMPAIGN

Learn in order

Start here. Early levels introduce Cable and Color Slider before adding CHAOS and harder modules.

CUSTOM

Practice a pool

Use selected difficulty and modifiers to repeat the modules your team miscommunicates.

ENDLESS

Test consistency

Play waves after the team can preserve its protocol under interruptions.

The rule that prevents most confusion

OBSERVE → RELAY → VERIFY → ACT

Keep raw observation separate from the final command. If the answer cannot be repeated back exactly, it is not ready to execute.
