BOMBANANA Voice Chat Not Working
Update first: v1.0.1 specifically fixed distorted audio and cases where players could not hear or speak. Then isolate local input, Windows permission, and room-state problems in order.
Fast checklist
- Verify game version
Restart Steam and install the current BOMBANANA update.
- Check the input device
Set the intended microphone as the Windows default input and confirm its meter moves.
- Allow microphone access
Windows Settings → Privacy & security → Microphone; allow desktop apps.
- Rejoin cleanly
Leave the room, restart the game, and test a fresh room code.
- Separate game from network
Test another voice app. If it also fails, the issue is outside BOMBANANA.
