BOMBANANA Crashing
Random crashes remain an officially acknowledged issue in the v1.0.1 notes. The developer said it was still investigating the cause, so there is no verified universal fix or published ETA; use reversible checks and preserve useful crash evidence.
Current status
v1.0.1 fixed several voice-chat defects but did not claim to fix random crashes. Do not treat a generic Unity or IL2CPP workaround as a confirmed BOMBANANA solution.
Safe first steps
- Update and restart.
Install the latest BOMBANANA and Steam client updates, then restart the computer.
- Verify game files.
Steam → Library → BOMBANANA → Properties → Installed Files → Verify integrity of game files.
- Remove optional injectors.
Temporarily disable overlays, mods, and custom launch options so the next test uses the stock game path.
- Record the failure point.
Note whether the crash happens at launch, lobby join, level load, or mid-run. Save the time, game version, operating system, and any exact error text for a report.
- Test one change at a time.
Do not combine driver changes, file deletion, and third-party downloads; otherwise the result cannot identify a cause.
